We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Pool Service Manager. The Pool Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of pool service, and client retention. You will be responsible for managing staff, and maintaining the highest level of Customer Service. This is a full-time position that requires both leadership skills and a strong knowledge of pool Service.


The Service Manager’s responsibilities include providing the highest level of customer service,

developing and maintaining lasting customer relationships and managing the service team members.


The Service Manager must maintain a strong working knowledge of all industry standards and practices as well as the company’s products and services. The Service Manager should also have a strong sales-minded attitude and excellent leadership skills.

Requirements:

· Delegating and directing service tasks, monitoring the progress of current projects and managing service team members to ensure the companies objectives are met.

· Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships.

· Troubleshooting, installation and repair of pool equipment including auto-controllers, pumps, motors, filters, gas and electric heaters, salt water/chlorine generators, controls and related equipment.

· Repair and replacement of pool plumbing and valves, leak detection and repair.

· Knowledge of plumbing hydraulics, repair or replacement of pumps, filters, timers, pool cleaners, pool lights, blowers, automated pool systems, chlorinators, backwash valves, PVC plumbing, repair suction problems, high/low pressure problems and pump priming problems.

· Maintain a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company’s adherence to these regulations, and remaining current on the industry’s standards and new innovations, materials, tools and processes.

· Minor and major cosmetic repairs including but not limited to plaster, tile, coping and other masonry.

· Ability to organize and modify pool maintenance schedules to achieve maximum efficiency.

· Ensure mechanics and service techs are maintaining a good condition and the appropriate levels of chemical and equipment inventory on their vans and trucks.

· Driving safely and responsible for maintaining and keeping company van in good working condition.

· Responsible for wearing the required uniform and ensuring a professional appearance at all times.

· Uphold the SurfSide standard of customer service and quality while continuously improving customer relationships.

Skills and Specifications

· Strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills.

· Ability to diagnose and give estimates for repairs and equipment.

· Strong Technical knowledge of pool equipment.

· Working knowledge of 110v and 220v electricity.

· Ability to work independently with little supervision.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Willing to be part of a team and support each other.

· Extremely reliable, honest and transparent. Other Requirements

· Valid driver’s license

· Successfully pass a thorough background check

· Successfully pass a thorough DMV/driving record check

· Ability to lift 50lbs or more

· 3 years of supervisory experience

· 5 years of pool industry experience

· CPO certification
