As a Pool Monitor, your primary duties include observing swimmers to ensure safety, enforcing pool rules, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment. You may assist guests by answering questions about facility policies and sometimes perform basic water-quality checks or minor cleaning tasks. Job description

Commercial Aquatics, a FirstService Brands company operating under The Amenity Collective, is one of the largest commercial aquatics management and maintenance companies in the country. Our American Pool brand has built a strong presence across major markets in the Eastern US, and we are now actively growing our footprint across Texas. With established operations in Houston and Dallas and a rapidly expanding presence in the Austin and San Antonio corridor, this is an exciting time to be part of a company that combines the resources of a national platform with the momentum of a regional growth story.
We are seeking a Regional Manager/Technician to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will oversee all property and operational activities across the Austin and San Antonio markets while ensuring exceptional service for our customers. • Conduct regular contracted service and inspections of all managed locations to ensure that pool services, including filtration, circulation, heating systems, and chemical balancing, meet safety and operational standards.
  • Ensure pools are properly maintained through regular cleaning, chemical treatment, equipment checks, and repair as needed. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient service and resolution of issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise throughout project lifecycles.

  • Maintain inventory control and ensure availability of necessary supplies.

Compliance & Safety Oversight
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations, building codes, and company procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean job site by properly handling and storing materials, removing tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the site daily
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently, in compliance with government and company PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) standards
  • Ensure repair methods and techniques align with industry best practices and quality expectations.

Sales & Client Relations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, community associations, and commercial clients.
  • Respond promptly to customer concerns and resolve service issues professionally.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing customer relationships through additional services.
  • Build operation through account sales.

Team Management
  • As the market grows - recruit, hire, and train a high-performing service technician team while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with company leadership to develop strategies for continued regional growth and operational excellence.

Skills & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in the commercial or residential pool industry (commercial industry is preferred).
  • Experience with pool equipment repair, troubleshooting, plumbing, and basic renovation work.
  • Previous supervisory, management, or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Sales aptitude with the ability to identify and recommend additional services when appropriate.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and work extended hours depending on customer and business needs up to 6 days per week.
  • Ability to work during summer holidays as pool service and maintenance is critical during these times. Must be available on Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Fourth of July, and Labor Day and corresponding weekends.

Physical Requirements
