Summary of Job Summer Seasonal:May through August (variable hours; approximately 10-40 hours/week) Manage and supervise staff in the overall maintenance of Krueger Pool during work hours (including but not limited to security, cleanliness and safety) Safety and direct supervision of facility patrons Provide high level of leadership Provide supervision of staff including in-service training and scheduling Coordination and planning of facility maintenance procedures Complete necessary paperwork specific to job responsibilities (state mandated forms, attendance forms, accident/incident report forms, facility checklists, etc.) Initiate communication regarding safety concerns to management staff on a daily basis Encourage children to participate in swimming activities through positive reinforcement Supervise special events held at assigned facility Serve as a positive role model to the participants Perform set-up and take-down of program related equipment Responsible for daily monetary transactions and deposits at facility Perform end-of-season staff evaluations with employees Organize and assign staff to teach weekly swim lessons Qualifications Must be 18 years of age upon employment. High School diploma or equivalent required. Current Lifeguard Training, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and AED certifications

Ability to supervise staff. Ability to effectively coordinate and direct the overall operation, including maintenance of the swimming pool during swim hours. Ability to enforce City of Beloit policies and procedures.
