Responsibilities

  • Craft highquality beverages using premium spirits, liqueurs, fresh fruits, herbs, and spices.
  • Greet guests promptly and take beverage orders directly or through restaurant servers.
  • Prepare and mix cocktails and other beverages in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain bottles, glassware, and bar displays in a clean, organized, and visually appealing manner.
  • Provide wine recommendations, explain wine characteristics, and follow proper wineservice techniques.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create mixers and garnishes.
  • Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with legal alcoholservice requirements.
  • Handle an assigned cash bank and follow all cashhandling procedures.
  • Process payments and accurately reconcile receipts at the end of each shift.
  • Ensure the bar is fully stocked with tools, supplies, and products; prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed.
  • Serve food to bar guests courteously and promptly.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of food and beverage menus, promotions, and product offerings.
  • Keep the bar area clean, including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning glass doors and windows.
  • Assist in organizing catering storage spaces.
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to meet health and safety standards.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Minimum two years of bartending experience.
