As our Pool Manager, you will oversee the daily planning, coordination, and execution of pool construction projects. You will serve as the primary connection between clients, internal teams, field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, within budget, and to Vive Exterior Design's quality standards.

What You'll Do

  • Manage residential pool construction projects from pre-construction through final completion
  • Create and maintain project schedules to ensure work is completed efficiently and on time
  • Coordinate excavation, plumbing, electrical, steel, gunite, decking, plaster, equipment installation, and related construction phases
  • Review project plans, specifications, site layouts, and elevations with field supervisors and subcontractors
  • Conduct project handoff meetings to establish clear expectations before construction begins
  • Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal departments
  • Ensure materials, equipment, purchase orders, and subcontractors are secured according to the project schedule
  • Monitor project budgets, labor, material expenses, change orders, and overall profitability
  • Identify scheduling conflicts, construction challenges, and cost-saving opportunities before they affect the project
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding schedules, progress, decisions, delays, and project adjustments
  • Respond to customer questions and concerns quickly and professionally
  • Oversee jobsite organization, safety, workmanship, and quality control
  • Verify that construction complies with approved plans, manufacturer requirements, and applicable building codes
  • Maintain accurate project updates in LMN, LMN Time, scheduling, payroll, and job-costing systems
  • Review purchase orders, receipts, expense forms, and other project documentation
  • Conduct progress inspections and document completed work throughout each phase
  • Proactively identify and resolve deficiencies to achieve a minimal final punch list
  • Conduct final walkthroughs and coordinate the completion of outstanding items
  • Support the training, development, and accountability of field supervisors and crew members
  • Help improve pool construction procedures, communication systems, and operational efficiency

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in swimming pool construction, construction project management, field supervision, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of the residential pool construction process and sequencing
  • Experience coordinating pool trades, subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and field crews
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, site layouts, and elevations
  • Strong scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and job-costing skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple active projects at the same time
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to create a positive, accountable crew culture
  • Excellent client communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying potential problems
  • Comfortable using project management, scheduling, and administrative software
  • Experience with LMN or similar construction management software is preferred
  • Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record required
