Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Pool Technician to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional pool and spa equipment repair/install or commercial plumbing experience, with strong technical skills and a dedication to outstanding customer service. As a Senior Pool Technician, you will perform maintenance, repair, and installation of residential and commercial pool and spa systems. Youโ€™ll work independently in the field, diagnosing issues, ensuring water quality, and providing solutions that align with Swim Proโ€™s high standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, cleaning, and repair of swimming pools, spas, and related equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with pumps, heaters, filters, automation systems, and plumbing.
  • Conduct water testing and apply appropriate chemical treatments to maintain water balance.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding service performed, recommendations, and maintenance tips.
  • Maintain accurate records of services completed and materials used.
  • Ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and company standards.
  • Represent Swim Proโ€™s professionalism and commitment to integrity in all client interactions.
  • Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to ensure efficiency and exceptional service delivery.
Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in pool and spa service, maintenance, repair or commercial plumbing.ย 
  • Strong understanding of pool systems, hydraulics, and water chemistry.
  • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and problem-solve effectively.
  • Certification (CPO, CPT, or equivalent) preferred but not required.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
