Lead Pool Service Technician 

Puddle Pools | Clearwater, Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor, Oldsmar and East Lake

Puddle Pool Franchise is looking to change the pool service industry in how businesses treat customers and employees.  We are seeking a lead pool technician with 4 to 6 years of experience. We hire for attitude, customer service, and reliability first. You are the face of the company!  We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the business, represent the brand well, and build a long-term career with a strong local service company backed by a National Franchise.

About the Role

Puddle Pools is seeking a dependable, customer-focused team member who takes pride in doing quality work and delivering great customer experience. What matters most is professionalism, strong communication, and the desire to help a growing local business succeed. As a seasoned Pool Technician, you will be the first hire laying a solid foundation for how we operate and ultimately train future hires as we scale.

What You'll Do

·        Provide exceptional customer service at every stop.

·        Perform pool cleaning, routine service and repair operations for residential and commercial customers.

·        Perform Pool Inspection and/or Leak Detection for customers seeking inspection or detection services

·        Perform complex repairs on pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and circulation systems using hand tools and power tools.

·        Perform power washing for residential and commercial power washing customers.

·        Communicate professionally with customers regarding service, findings, and follow-up needs.

·        Help identify referral opportunities and additional service needs while in the field.

·        Represent Puddle Pools professionally in the community.

·        Maintain equipment and keep the company vehicle clean and organized.

·        Complete job notes, invoices, and payment processing accurately.

·        Drive the company vehicle to and from job sites and take it home overnight, if applicable.

What We're Looking For

·        Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.

·        4 to 6 years of work experience as a Pool Technician.

·        Dependable, self-managing, and accountable.

·        A candidate not afraid to be entrepreneurial, have an owner’s mindset, and scale the business

·        Demonstrated ability to perform pool cleaning, chemical balancing, and water testing procedures.

·        Excellent problem-solving skills & ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.

·        Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a maintenance or technical environment is preferred.

·        Physically capable of bending, lifting 50+ pounds, and handling equipment and tools.

·        Valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Preferred, But Not Required

·        6+ years of prior pool cleaning experience.

·        2+ years Commercial pool service experience.

·        2+ years pool equipment repair experience.

·        Prior Leak detection experience.

·        Prior pool inspection experience (CPI).

Compensation and Benefits

·        $24-$29per hour, based on experience.

·        Performance bonus opportunities for growing pool route.

·        Full-time hours and job stability.

·        Company vehicle.

·        Eligible for Health and dental benefits package after 3 months

·        Paid training during the last week of April
