Job description

Job Description

Are you an experienced pool professional looking for a high-earning, independent route? We are a growing company seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pool Maintenance & Service Technician to join our team.

Instead of a flat hourly wage, we reward efficiency, skill, and experience with a competitive pay-per-pool structure. The more experienced you are, the higher your base rate per pool. In this role, you will manage an assigned weekly residential route—ensuring pools are clean, chemically balanced, and pristine—while also handling minor equipment troubleshooting and repair work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pool Maintenance: Brush pool walls, skim surfaces, vacuum debris, and empty skimmer/pump baskets.

  • Water Chemistry: Test pool water chemistry and accurately balance chemicals (chlorine, acid, salt, stabilizer, etc.) for optimal safety and clarity.

  • Equipment & Repairs: Visually inspect pool equipment during every visit. Diagnose and perform routine repair work (e.g., fixing leaks, replacing gaskets, cleaning filters, troubleshooting timers, and handling minor pump/motor repairs).

  • Customer Communication: Maintain professional, polite communication with homeowners and log accurate service records after each visit via our route software.

  • Vehicle & Inventory Care: Take excellent care of the provided company truck, keeping it organized, clean, and properly stocked with daily chemicals and tools.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Professional residential pool service and repair experience is strongly preferred. Base pay-per-pool rate is determined by your level of hands-on experience.

  • Clean MVR: Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) to be insurable on our company vehicle policy.

  • Physical Fitness: Ability to work independently outdoors in the Arizona heat and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

  • Reliability: Strong time-management skills. Efficiency on a pay-per-pool model means higher daily earnings, but quality can never be compromised.

  • Tech-Friendly: Must have a smartphone and be comfortable using mobile routing apps to log daily stops and upload photos.

What We Offer

  • Pay-Per-Pool Structure: Earn a highly competitive rate per stop, meaning your efficiency and experience directly control your paycheck size.

  • Company truck provided for business use, including all necessary chemicals and tools.

  • Repair Commissions: Additional earning potential/bonuses for equipment repairs, filter cleans, and upgrades you identify and complete on your route.

  • Consistent, year-round work.

  • Paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay.

  • A supportive, team-oriented company culture.

How to Apply

If you are a dependable, experienced pool professional with a clean driving record who wants to maximize their earning potential on a well-paying route, please submit your resume and a brief summary of your work history.

We are an equal opportunity employer. All applicants must pass a background check and driving record review prior to hiring.
