Primary Roles and Responsibilities
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and to make decisions with respect to acceptability of production parts.
  • Assist CMM Technician with dimensional layouts when needed.
  • Assist in resolution of problems and responding to customer and supplier needs.
  • Assist with capability studies and statistical process control.
  • Assure dimensional, gauge repeatability and reproducibility studies are in the production part approval process submissions.
  • Coordinate the performance of the calibration and verification of the measuring devices
  • Interprets engineering drawings.
  • Maintain the necessary gauges, tools, meters, instruments, and equipment in the calibration system along with all records required.
  • Working knowledge of all dimensional metrology and equipment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure proper quality of work and efficiency.
  • Travel is not likely or 0%.
  • Training needs are based on Techniplas' ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 training matrix for this position.
  • Other duties as assigned according to the job classification and overtime may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Familiar with Scan Faro Arm / Hexagon
  • Experience with Polyworks.
