Job description

1.   Blending compound formulation per baseline recipe
2.   Review MPE & ATP test data, release compound for FA / production
3.   Manage chemical TDS, receiving inspection, shelf life, Manage inventory level
4.   Order Masterbatch & other material, review master batch testing result, communicate with compound supplier
5.   Working with production, monitoring molding process and molding OIS 
6.   Backup for MPE testing technician when needed
 

ABILITIES AND BEHAVIORAL FACTORS:

1.   Good engineering training in document changes, manage database and documentation
2.   Good training in research information to resolve problem 
3.   Good communication skill, with customer, supplier and coworker
   

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  (Schooling and/or equivalent experience required)

Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science or Chemical Engineering and 2-10 years experience in a product development environment. 

Experience in compounding and rubber related manufacturing geared towards fatigue life improvements and aerospace applications.

Able and willing to support production whenever needed
 

Salary range: $90,000 to $110,000
