Job Description Job Title: HVAC Mechanic Location: Springfield, VA Working Hours: Monday - Friday (anticipate 40 hours per week). Operating hours on-site are from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday; Shifts will consist of an 8-hour shift during those hours. On-call support will be required on an occasional basis.

Required Qualifications: Must be a US citizen Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Full Scope Poly Journeyman HVAC or Master HVAC license; EPA Universal certification; High school diploma or equivalent; Must demonstrate proficiency with the following: o Familiarity with building codes, ordinances and regulations of state and local authorities pertaining to HVAC; o Proficiency with ASHRAE standards to include ASHRAE 55 -Thermal Environmental Conditions for Human Occupancy, ASHRAE 62.1 - Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality, and ASHRAE 180 - Standard Practice for Inspection and Maintenance of Commercial Building HVAC Systems; and Experience with CMMS is a plus but not required Job Description: We are seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic who is highly motivated, qualified, and experienced. Position required to maintain and repair HVAC equipment throughout a new facility located in Springfield, Virginia. Duties may include, but not be limited to, the following: Adding refrigerant to or removing refrigerant from equipment; Installing and troubleshooting heating and cooling systems; Cutting, welding, soldering, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures; Replacing component and parts (pumps, pipes, fans, etc.); Using power and hand tools safely to support the facilities; Maintaining air and water treatment systems; Inspecting refrigerant systems for leaks; Reading blueprints & schematics, utility plans, mechanical drawings, and electrical and wiring diagrams; Entering data into a Computerized Maintenance Management System; and Other duties as assigned.
