Department: Government Customer - Chantilly

Location: Chantilly, VA


ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE w/ CI Poly REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION


Asย IT Network Engineer, you will be responsible for providing guidance for the development of network designs and architecture.

Responsibilities:ย 

  • Analyze, design and develop a comprehensive strategy and implementation plan with current, transitional and future state architecture viewpoints
  • Ensure compatibility with existing solutions, infrastructure, services and strategic requirements
  • Work closely with IT leadership to ensure architectural alignment with organizational goals and requirements
  • Ensure the conceptual completeness of technical security solutions
  • Define technical solutions analyzing the viability of the solution to meet the timeline, budget and quality
  • Perform other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications:ย 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Junior to Senior level positions available
  • Knowledge of network concepts, architecture, operations, and tools
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • TS/SCI clearance w/CI Poly

Requirements/Abilities:

  • Experience with primary network topologies, LANs, WANs and other common network standards
  • Familiarity with networking technologies including router/switch administration, ethernet and wireless networking and related protocols, hardware installation and support, system security techniques and firewall administration, basic database management
  • Experience with designing, configuring, integrating, and troubleshooting network infrastructure technology
  • Experience supporting a switched or routed network environment
  • Experience withย installation, configuration, problem resolution and maintenance of all network resources, systems and other IT-related technologies
