Job description

Summary:

Follow scheduled recipes and supply ingredients for each recipe to the Mixer Operator. Bulk Minor’s operator must weigh all chemicals accurately and consistently.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

  • The ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Capable of maintaining quality control by monitoring production output.
  • Ability to identify any issues with the product or process.
  • Transfer material from bulk bags or “supersacks” to smaller paper or poly bags to a more precise weight that can be handled efficiently at the mixer
  • Typically target weights of 30-50lbs.
  • Communicate with additional staff members
  • Responsible for weighing of materials
  • Proper inventory control of raw materials and finished products
  • Properly label skids, boxes and fill out any applicable paperwork
  • Perform monthly inventory count
  • Following all safety procedures and guidelines along with assisting in modifying and updating procedures
  • Operating a forklift for various functions.

Your Credentials:

  • One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High School or GED preferred
  • Willing to work overtime including weekends
  • Close visual work required.
  • Knowledge of general computer skills.
  • Attention to detail.

The hourly rate for this position is $18 per hour, plus $1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd and/or 3rd shift.
