We Require
This position requires a high school diploma or GED.
Other Requirements
- Must be a registered voter or have the ability to become a registered voter in the State of Arizona by the time of hire
- May require the use of a personal vehicle, which would require a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and attendance in Maricopa County's Defensive Driving Course
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid unrestricted Arizona driver's license by the time of hire
- Must pass an applicable background screening
- Must be able to work overtime as necessary

Job Contributions
- Supports troubleshooting efforts throughout the election cycle and equipment security and retrieval activities at the close of Election Day
- Travels throughout Maricopa County to perform laptop software, hardware installations, configurations, repairs, and ongoing support
- Works in collaboration with Poll Workers to set up Vote Centers and Polling Locations before opening for election activities
- Prepares and retrieves information and enters/updates information in reports, logs, or other documentation/record-keeping systems
- Carries a 50lb backpack of materials for repairs throughout the assignment
- Analyzes programs to ensure prompt problem resolution and ticket closure
- Assists other divisions of Elections with their daily functions and activities, along with other job duties as assigned
Working Conditions
- Full-time/Temporary/Overtime/Holiday hours are mandatory during the election cycle
- Requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, to lift floor-to-shoulder and shoulder-to-waist up to 50 pounds, and carry it for 100 feet, to push/pull up to 50 pounds for 200 feet, to stoop and bend, and the use of upper extremity repetitive motions
- Closed-toed shoes must be worn at all times
- Work may occur outdoors in high temperatures or indoors
- Utilizes a personal vehicle to travel within Maricopa County
- Must not engage in any political discussion
