Job description

At The Joel Bieber Firm (JBF), our clients’ needs are at the forefront of what we do and drive us to provide excellent, personalized service. The Client & Investigation Coordinator is a developmental role that supports clients and case development while building the knowledge and skills needed to progress toward an Investigator position. This position works directly with clients, attorneys, and the Investigation Team to gather information, conduct research, and assist with investigative assignments.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Conducts new client intake, gathers initial case details, and explains the Firm’s process.
  • Confirms key case information, including insurance coverage, treatment history, and other relevant details.
  • Follows up with clients to obtain missing information and documentation.
  • Travels to client locations for in-person meetings or sign-ups as needed.
  • Interviews clients, witnesses, and other parties involved by phone or in person.
  • Conducts background and public-record research at the direction of attorneys or Investigators.
  • Assists with field investigations, photographs, evidence collection, and other investigative assignments as experience develops.
  • Documents client conversations, research, and investigative findings accurately and thoroughly.
  • Maintains organized and complete case files and updates information in the Firm’s case management system.
  • Provides timely and accurate information to attorneys and the Investigation Team.
  • Works closely with Investigators to support active cases and investigative assignments.
  • Participates in training and hands-on development designed to build Investigator-level skills.
  • Takes on increasingly independent investigative responsibilities as knowledge, judgment, and proficiency develop.
  • Participates in the Investigation Team’s rotating on-call schedule, which may include occasional evenings and weekends.

  • Prior client service, legal, research, internship, or other professional experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.
  • Ability to participate in the Investigation Team’s rotating on-call schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.
