Job description
The Opportunity:
As a risk specialist, you're driven to understand how uncertainty shapes outcomes-diving into rootcause drivers, assessing exposures, and developing recommendations that strengthen program performance. We need a specialist like you to help our business teams enhance decisionmaking by applying structured risk analysis, maturing risk governance, and elevating the effectiveness of our GSC Risk Gate process.
On our team supporting enterprise risk management and acquisition programs, you'll evaluate supplier and product risks in leading supplier risk management platforms to identify emerging risks, quantify potential impacts, and develop mitigation strategies. You'll help shape datadriven risk postures using methods such as probabilistic analysis, scenario modeling, dependency mapping, and structured risk gate assessments to deliver actionable insights.
You won't go at it alone-you'll collaborate with crossfunctional teams consisting of technical experts, program managers, security specialists, and mission stakeholders to interpret risk indicators and support decision forums. Once documented, you'll help develop cohesive materials to communicate risk findings, support stakeholder coordination, and contribute to program reviews that inform management decisions and support continuous improvement of the Risk Gate process.
In this role, you'll use your analytical expertise and understanding of risk principles to apply modeling and measurement techniques that evaluate system vulnerability, program readiness, and enterprise exposure. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Join us. The world can't wait.
You Have:
2+ years of experience with performing risk assessment, due diligence, supply chain risk management, or analytical activities
Experience supporting structured risk processes, including risk identification, characterization, scoring, mitigation planning, and escalation
Experience with evaluating supplier or third-party risk indicators, including ownership, beneficial ownership, foreign affiliations, adverse media, sanctions, regulatory, cybersecurity, financial, or operational concerns
Experience developing written risk assessments, executive summaries, dashboards, metrics, or trend analyses to support management decisions
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Knowledge of enterprise or supply chain risk management principles and frameworks
Ability to apply critical thinking and analytical judgment to assess source credibility, reconcile conflicting information, and distinguish material risk indicators from false positives, duplicative findings, or immaterial information
Bachelor's degree in Business, Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, National Security Studies, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
Nice If You Have:
Experience using Exiger platforms or related supply chain, supplier, third-party, or due diligence risk management platforms
Experience using AI-assisted research, scripted searches, automation, or advanced search techniques to support due diligence and risk analysis
Experience in validating AI-generated or automated research results for accuracy, relevance, source reliability, and materiality
Experience conducting FOCI, beneficial ownership, foreign nexus, sanctions, watchlist, or adverse-media analysis
Experience supporting defense program offices, acquisition organizations, procurement teams, or government contracting environments
Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
Possession of excellent written communication, briefing, and presentation skills
