Job description

Athens Technical College in Athens, GA. is seeking a qualified candidate for a Federal Work Study student for our Information Technology Division on the Elberton Campus.
The pay for this position is $9.00/Hr.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist faculty/staff with hardware, software and printer problems
  • Restock classroom printer paper
  • Work with Information Technology staff to image computers, work on trouble tickets and network problems
  • Troubleshoot audio visual problems
  • Assist with upgrading software
  • Others duties as assigned

Skills & Requirements
To be eligible for this position, candidate must be a current student enrolled for at least 6 credit hours. Please use student email account during the application process.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry 15 to 44 pounds.
  • Occasional bending.
  • Ascending or descending stairs to gain access to buildings on a daily basis.
  • Moving about on foot from building to building each day.
  • Able to see and read PC screens on a daily basis.
  • Understand what clients are saying in a normal conversation.
  • Finger and hand dexterity necessary to service computers and peripherals on a daily basis.
