Due to continuing growth, we are seeking a Tax Advisor to join our team. The Tax Advisor is a key part of our team - you will be a part of tax preparation, compliance, and advising clients on tax planning. Building long-lasting client relationships is our goal by providing the highest level of service and oversight to the people we work for. Platform Accounting Group is a rapidly growing professional services firm providing tax, accounting, assurance, IT consulting, and wealth management services to small and medium sized businesses and their owners. We currently have 50+ offices in 15 States with much more growth on the horizon. What you will do:
  • Prepare individual and business (c-corps, s-corps, partnerships) tax returns. Develop your skills and knowledge to increase complexity and types of returns completed
  • Build, maintain and enhance client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of each client's business and finances
  • Provide or assist with accounting services including bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, etc.
  • Identify, research, and resolve tax issues

What we look for:
  • 0-3 year of experience preparing a variety of tax returns
  • Understanding of practices, theories, and policies related to taxes and accounting
  • Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's Degree Preferred
  • EA or CPA desired (or actively working towards licensure)
