The training period involves mastering complex communication systems, accurately relaying information to officers, and prioritizing emergency calls, all while remaining calm under pressure. Trainees are usually paired with experienced dispatchers who provide guidance and feedback, but adapting to the fast-paced environment and irregular shift schedules can require significant adjustment.
