As an Advanced Auto Technician, you'll play a critical role in keeping our customers safely on the road. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of vehicles while working alongside a team of skilled professionals dedicated to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.


What You'll Do:


Engine Performance & Repair
  • Diagnose and repair common engine concerns.
  • Replace worn or damaged components including spark plugs, belts, hoses, and gaskets.
  • Perform tune-ups and preventative maintenance services.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair cooling system components, including radiators, thermostats, water pumps, and hoses.
  • Diagnose coolant leaks and overheating concerns.
Suspension & Steering
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair steering and suspension systems.
  • Perform wheel alignments and related adjustments.
  • Evaluate tire wear patterns and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure vehicle stability and proper handling through accurate system diagnosis and repair.
Brake Systems
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, disc, drum, parking brake, and power-assist systems.
  • Service and troubleshoot ABS and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) systems.
  • Perform brake inspections and recommend necessary repairs.
Electrical & Electronic Systems
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical concerns.
  • Troubleshoot wiring, switches, relays, fuses, and lighting systems.
  • Utilize diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and testing equipment.
  • Interpret diagnostic trouble codes and repair electrical faults efficiently.
Heating & Air Conditioning
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC and climate control systems.
  • Service air conditioning components, including compressors, blower motors, and control systems.
  • Test system performance and handle refrigerants in compliance with environmental regulations.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Complete accurate vehicle inspections and repair recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair techniques.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:

What We're Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Vocational or technical automotive training preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
  • ASE Certifications preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to pursue ASE certifications with company support.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform automotive repair work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
ASE Skill Alignment

This role aligns closely with ASE certifications:

  • A1 – Engine Repair
  • A4 – Suspension & Steering
  • A5 – Brakes
  • A6 – Electrical/Electronic Systems
  • A7 – Heating & Air Conditioning
