Location: Baltimore, MD
Position: Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Amber Health Care is a rapidly growing primary care practice dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered healthcare to our community. We are seeking a motivated and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.


What You'll Do

  • Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
  • Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as ordered
  • Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens
  • Conduct point-of-care testing (strep, flu, COVID-19, urinalysis, glucose, pregnancy testing, etc.)
  • Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
  • Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments
  • Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies while following infection control standards
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and provide outstanding customer service


Qualifications

  • Current Maryland Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Minimum one year of outpatient or primary care experience preferred
  • Experience with phlebotomy and injections preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • EMR experience preferred
