MedStar Health Urgent Care Physician (MD - DO) - PA - NP, West Region (Montgomery County)

Experienced emergency, family, urgent care providers. (Full or Part-Time eligible for signing bonus)

West Region (Montgomery County Maryland): Frederick, Olney, Germantown, Gaithersburg (2 locations), Rockville, Potomac, and Wheaton)

MedStar Health Urgent Care is looking for experienced emergency medicine, urgent care, or family medicine physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners. Advanced practice providers work autonomously with supportive physician mentorship. Providers are assigned to a region but can set preferences for their top sites (Floating provider).

We are looking for providers to manage acute walk-in urgent cases and minor procedures. Procedures include, but are not limited to, suturing, fracture care/splinting, I&Ds, interpreting EKGs, and wet reading X-rays (all films are read by a radiologist). We have an on-site, low-complexity lab for point-of-care testing. Most sites have a full x-ray suite and amazing support staff. We are open 12 hours daily and shift lengths may vary.

Our providers have on-site access to pediatric, emergency medicine, and cardiologist teleconsultant providers, so they are always supported. Our referral management program also supports our patients in assisting with obtaining quick access to primary care and specialist follow-up.
