Position Overview

The Coordinating Producer, Business Development is responsible for writing and coordinating branded podcast advertising across Smosh's podcast slate while supporting the execution of YouTube brand integrations through production administration and cross-functional coordination. Ideal for someone with a production background who enjoys creative writing, thrives in organized workflows, and is looking to grow their experience in branded content and advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Podcast Ad Creative – Write and revise 60–90 second host-read podcast advertisements, adapt messaging to individual shows and talent, coordinate creative approvals, and collaborate with cast writers or creative leadership as needed.
  • Coordinate Podcast Ad Production – Manage podcast campaign workflows in Monday.com, maintain brand calendars, prepare pre-production materials, ensure scripts and assets are production-ready, attend recordings, capture production notes, and confirm final deliverables meet brand requirements.
  • Support YouTube Brand Execution – Provide administrative and production support for YouTube branded integrations and dedicated content by organizing assets, attending shoots when needed, assisting with brand compliance, communicating post-production notes, QA'ing published content, and confirming upload requirements such as descriptions, CTAs, and pinned comments.
  • Manage Campaign Operations – Maintain accurate documentation across Monday.com, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and Slack while ensuring campaign tracking, production details, approvals, and brand assets remain organized and up to date.
  • Coordinate Post & Upload Logistics – Work closely with Post Production and Channel Management Teams to QA final assets, and communicate brand-approved metadata.
  • Collaborate on Tools & Processes – Partner with the Producer, Business Development to refine internal workflows, improve branded content operations, and support successful campaign execution across podcasts, YouTube, and other branded initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in production coordination or a similar logistics-heavy role
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write concise, conversational advertising or branded content.
  • Comfortable with Google Workspace, Monday.com, and digital content workflows
  • Prior experience with branded content or client-facing work
  • Interest in growing skills in brand partnerships, copywriting, and campaign management
  • Confident, proactive, and steady under pressure
