You Will:Edit a high volume of daily news stories, market reports and newsletters for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and adherence to the Dow Jones Energy style guidelines
Review content to ensure quality, substance, and strict adherence to legal and compliance standards
Work under intense pressure to clear breaking news alerts and daily reports within tight publication windows
Distill complex regulatory changes and market fluctuations into concise, readable content for a sophisticated B2B audience
Assist with Content Management System (CMS) entry to ensure proper tagging
Format newsletters
3+ years' copy editing experience
Proficiency in AP Style and experience with content management systems
An eagle eye for detail, particularly when dealing with complex numbers and market terminology
High ethical standards
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field -OR- equivalent work experience
