Job Description

The Employee Communications Specialist helps bring Wynn Las Vegas' workplace experience to life through clear, thoughtful, and engaging employee communications. This role is ideal for a strong writer, storyteller, and project owner who can lead internal communications projects, create content across multiple channels, and partner with stakeholders to deliver work that engages employees and reflects Wynn's culture. You will do your best work in this role if you are energized by high standards, comfortable taking initiative, and motivated by the opportunity to shape communications that employees notice, remember, and connect with.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Write and shape content for internal communications and storytelling initiatives that inform, engage, and inspire Wynn employees
  • Lead assigned projects from conception through execution, managing timelines, approvals, and deliverables
  • Interview employees to develop stories and content that are accurate, engaging, and meaningful
  • Create and adapt communications materials for print and digital channels using approved templates and brand standards
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support employee events, campaigns, and programs
  • Lead social media initiatives, including content planning and execution, for employee campaigns and programs
  • Lead the setup, placement, and distribution of communication materials, including signage and displays, across our back-of-house areas
  • Help drive the communications calendar by recommending the right channels, timing, and approach for each message
  • Publish content across employee communication channels and ensure materials are polished, timely, and aligned with Wynn standards
  • Support the execution of employee events and programs
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in internal communications, journalism, public relations, corporate communications, or a related field
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership, follow through, and manage multiple priorities with care and accountability
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to communicate, read, and write in English in a professional manner
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
