Job description

Role: Real Estate Podcast Production Intern — The Inside Deal

Team: Working directly with Sam Schneider

Focus areas: Podcast production, guest coordination, real estate content and research

Type: Contract

About the Internship:

We're hiring a paid intern to work on The Inside Deal, Sam Schneider's podcast covering real estate investment and the people behind the deals. You'll work directly with Sam on the production side — coordinating guests, preparing research briefs, and supporting the show end to end. It's a hands-on look at how a real estate–focused podcast gets made, and you'll be in regular contact with high-profile real estate and investment professionals as guests.

This internship suits a current undergraduate or recent graduate interested in podcasting, media, or content with a bonus if you're also curious about real estate investing and the people in that world.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate guest booking, scheduling, and research for The Inside Deal podcast
  • Prepare briefing documents on high-profile real estate investors, developers, and brokers ahead of interviews
  • Support episode production from prep through publishing
  • Work alongside a team of senior marketing professionals on content and distribution strategy
  • Help build and maintain guest trackers, research notes, and show materials
  • Research luxury real estate, commercial real estate, data centers, and alternative assets to shape episode topics and questions

Your Qualifications:

  • Currently an undergraduate, or hold a degree, in a related program (media, communications, marketing, business, real estate, or similar)
  • Genuine interest in podcasting, media, or content — and curiosity about real estate investing
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and confidence corresponding with senior professionals
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage several workstreams at once
  • Comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets for trackers and scheduling
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies in your everyday workflow to improve efficiency, creativity, and execution
  • Hands-on experience creating, developing, or managing content across social media, digital, editorial, or other relevant channels
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, AI tools, and workflow automation is a plus
  • Location: Remote

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience or coursework in media, journalism, marketing, or content production
  • Basic video, audio, or social editing skills
  • Interest in or exposure to commercial real estate, private equity, or investing

Who You'll Work With:

  • Sam Schneider, principal and host of The Inside Deal
  • David Lloyd, a top-producing real estate broker and recurring voice on the show
  • A team of senior marketing professionals supporting the podcast and brand

Why Should You Apply?

  • Hands-on experience producing a real estate–focused podcast from prep through publishing
  • Access to a network of high-profile real estate and investment professionals through The Inside Deal
  • Mentorship from an experienced principal and a top real estate broker
  • Flexible working hours
  • Informal and friendly atmosphere
  • The ability to focus on your work: a lack of bureaucracy and micromanagement
  • Education reimbursement

As a Podcast Production Intern, you will work with the team to scope your projects, set timelines, and review your work, so you finish the internship with real production experience and a real network.

We will only reach out if we are interested in inviting you for an introductory interview. Thank you for your time.
