As a podcast producer or audio engineer, you may record the podcast in a studio, or you may receive the audio from the podcast creator or host. You then edit the sound and add different elements if necessary. As an audio engineer, your responsibilities include using software to make improvements to the sound quality. Your duties may involve mixing audio from other files or from archival footage with the main podcast content to create a seamless stream of audio.
