Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and collaborative Hospitaliststo join our team at a Level I Trauma Centerwith strong in-house specialty support and a closed ICU model. Opportunities are available for both Day Hospitalistsand Nocturnists, offering flexible schedules, manageable patient volumes, and innovative tools to enhance clinical efficiency.

Position Highlights:

  • Schedule:Flexible block scheduling (e.g., 7 on / 7 off, 5 on / 5 off)

  • Annual Shifts:184 shifts per year, including a minimum of 2 weekends per month

  • Hours:8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (unless on call)

  • Call Schedule:Approximately 5 calls per month (Call shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM while rounding)

  • Patient Census: - Starting census of 14-15 patients - Average of 1-2 admissions during daytime round-robin (until 3:00 PM)

  • Support - Dedicated APP support for unit-based rounding (Monday-Friday)

Clinical Environment:

  • Closed ICU model and Codes run by the ICU team

  • Level I Trauma Center with full in-house specialty support

  • Clearly defined service line agreements with specialists

  • No required procedures

  • Optional non-procedural POCUS training (CME-supported)
