Job description

CT/X-Ray / POC Technologist – Nights

Location: Fraser, Colorado (near Winter Park Ski Resort)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Start Date: ASAP / Quick Start

Position Overview:

The Diagnostic Imaging/CT Technologist will perform a variety of imaging procedures, including general X-ray, CT scans, and Point of Care (POC) testing. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who prioritizes patient safety and ensures high-quality imaging outcomes. The technologist will serve as the first line of contact for patients, providing exceptional care and maintaining a positive workflow in the imaging department.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures using Canon equipment.

  • Conduct POC testing in accordance with department protocols.

  • Ensure all imaging meets high standards for diagnostic accuracy and patient safety.

  • Maintain proper documentation and adhere to hospital and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure seamless patient care.

  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergency imaging needs.

  • Support a positive and efficient department workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) required.

  • BLS certification required.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent imaging experience preferred.

  • Ability to perform both CT and general radiography procedures independently.

  • Strong communication and patient interaction skills.

  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.

Additional Information:

  • Facility Type: Critical Access / Level IV Trauma Center.

  • Equipment Used: Canon.

  • Housing: Free shared housing may be available within 30 miles.

  • Pay Rate: $90.00/hour (all-inclusive).

  • Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week.

  • Overtime: After 40 hours (+$10/hr).

  • Holiday Rate: +$8/hr.

  • On-Call Pager: $2/hr, with 1-hour minimum call-back.

  • Travel/1099: Not accepted.
