JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Project Management Office (PMO)is responsible forleading, organizing, and standardizing project management practices across Always Compassionate Health. This role oversees high-priority, healthcare-relatedinitiatives involving operational improvements, system implementations, workflow optimization, compliance-related projects,organizationalgrowth, patient-care outcomes, and strategic businessobjectives.

The Director of PMO will partner with executive leadershipandclinical,operational,andcross-functionalteamsto ensure projects areproperly planned, tracked,executed,andcompleted in alignment with company goals, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. This position serves as a central resource for project structure, accountability,stakeholder engagement, Agile project execution,communication, progress reporting, training, and successful implementation of companywide initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, implement, and lead the organization's Project Management Office structure, including project standards, tools, templates, timelines, reporting methods, and accountability measures.

  • Lead the planning, execution, and completion of healthcare-related,organization-wide projectsinvolvingoperations, growth, systems, compliance, process improvement, workflow development, and strategic initiatives.

  • Partnerwith executive leadershipand clinical and operational teamstoidentify, prioritize, and execute projects based on business needs, resources, risk,regulatory standards,and organizational impact.

  • Establish clear project scopes,objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, ownership, and success measures.

  • Develop and manage detailedproject plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocationsfrom initiation through completion.

  • Apply Agile methodologies to manage project lifecycles whilemaintainingflexibility for evolving priorities.

  • Coordinate cross-functional project meetings and ensure all involved parties understand responsibilities, deadlines, and expectations.

  • Facilitate strong stakeholder engagement across clinical, operational, and executive teams through effective communication and collaboration.

  • Track project progressusing tools such as Smartsheet, Jira,ClickUp, Monday, or similar platforms,and provide regularstatusupdates toseniorleadershipregardingstatus, barriers, risks, timelines, and next steps.

  • Identifyand mitigateproject risks, delays, resource concerns, and operational barriersproactively; escalate issues and recommend solutions asappropriate.

  • Support the implementation and optimization of systems, workflows, reporting tools, and operational processes.

  • Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, consistency, documentation accuracy, accountability, and communication.

  • Create and deliver training materials to support successful implementation of project outcomes, process improvements, new systems, workflows, and operational changes.

  • Support new program launches, business expansion efforts, and organizational development initiatives.

  • Collaborate with executives to assign project owners, define responsibilities, andmaintainproject momentum.

  • Create executive-level dashboards, reports, presentations, and project summaries to support decision-making.

  • Monitor project resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure initiativesremainaligned with organizational priorities.

  • Drive change management efforts to support successful adoption of new processes, systems, and initiatives.

  • Maintain organized project documentation, including meeting notes, action items, timelines, approvals, updates, and final outcomes.

  • Ensure projects are completedin accordance withapplicablehealthcare compliance standards, company policies, internal standards,industry best practices,and operational expectations.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Master'sdegree inHealthcareAdministration,BusinessAdministration, Project Management, Operations Management, or related fieldrequired.

  • ProjectManagementProfessional (PMP) certificationrequired.

  • Six SigmaBlackBeltcertification preferred.

  • Minimum of 7-10 years ofprogressiveproject managementexperience,with at least 5 yearsinhealthcare,homecare, ora closelyrelatedfieldrequired.

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Agile experiencerequired; strong working knowledge of Agile methodologiesrequired.

  • Prior experience developing or leading a Project Management Office preferred.

  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects ina healthcare, home care, or service-based organizationrequired.

  • Experience with system implementation, workflow redesign, process improvement, compliance-related projects, and organizational change initiativesrequired.

  • Experience working directly with senior leadership and managing multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneouslyrequired.

  • Proficiencyin project management software such as Smartsheet, Jira,ClickUp, Monday, or similar platformsrequired.

  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skillsrequired.

  • Proven ability to develop and deliver training materials and content to support implementation and process improvementsrequired.

Work Environment:

  • Monday - Friday (Full-Time, On-Site)at the Melville, Long Island headquarters; candidates mustresidewithin commuting distance to this location.

Compensation Range
