Job description

We are looking for a part-time Project Management Office (PMO) specialist to support merger and acquisition integration initiatives in a fully remote Contract role. This position is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and will focus on coordinating functional project activities with a strong emphasis on finance and accounting alignment. The ideal candidate brings practical project leadership experience and can manage cross-functional efforts involving ERP-related workstreams over a 2-3 month engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Lead day-to-day coordination of M& A integration project activities, ensuring timelines, priorities, and deliverables remain on track.
• Partner with finance, accounting, and business stakeholders to align project plans with operational and reporting needs.
• Oversee functional project tasks tied to ERP environments, including system-related dependencies and integration planning.
• Monitor project risks, open issues, and decision points, and drive timely follow-up with the appropriate teams.
• Facilitate meetings, document key actions, and provide clear status updates to stakeholders throughout the engagement.
• Support execution of hands-on project management activities rather than serving solely in an oversight capacity.
• Help organize workstreams involving Epicor and Prophet 21 platforms where applicable to business integration efforts.• Background in project management within a PMO or functional project leadership environment.
• Strong accounting or finance knowledge with the ability to work effectively on financially driven initiatives.
• Experience supporting ERP-related projects, including enterprise systems and integration-focused work.
• Familiarity with Epicor ERP, Epicor, or Prophet 21 in a business or project setting.
• Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced M& A integration environment.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
