Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Digital Lead - PMO in Tampa, FL.
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Digital Lead to support financial governance, portfolio reporting, project management processes, and continuous improvement initiatives within a Digital IT organization.
This role combines IT financial management, portfolio oversight, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will bring strong budgeting and reporting experience, along with knowledge of project governance and portfolio management best practices.
Responsibilities:
* Manage IT portfolio budgeting, forecasting, spend tracking, and financial reporting across operating and capital budgets
* Prepare month-end reports, budget analyses, and executive-level portfolio summaries
* Track project portfolio health, including KPIs, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource utilization
* Support project intake, approval, execution, and closure processes while ensuring adherence to governance standards
* Partner with IT, Finance, Procurement, and vendors to support purchasing, contract administration, and budget management activities
* Provide guidance to project managers on PMO processes, methodologies, and tools
* Identify opportunities to improve reporting, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency
* Support annual planning, portfolio prioritization, and strategic roadmap activities
REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of experience in IT portfolio management, PMO, project governance, financial analysis, or related disciplines
* Experience managing budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and variance analysis
* IT budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
* Experience managing and reporting on OPEX and CAPEX budgets
* Actuals vs. budget analysis and spend trend reporting
* Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and PMO governance
* Understanding of project lifecycle processes (intake, approval, execution, closure)
* Project portfolio reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting
* Financial analysis and basic accounting concepts (allocations, accruals, cost tracking)
* Process improvement and operational transformation experience
* Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders (IT, Finance, Procurement, Vendors)
* Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
* Experience developing executive dashboards, metrics, and portfolio reports
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management abilities
* Strong presentation skills
Preferred Skills:
* SAP user experience
* Power BI reporting and dashboard development
* IT vendor management and contract administration exposure
* Experience supporting ERP or large-scale transformation programs
* Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives
* Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
* Team leadership or PMO leadership experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
