Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager will provide oversight and governance for critical new business and new product development initiatives while developing the strategic roadmap for establishing a formal Project Management Office (PMO). Over the next six months, this individual will assess organizational needs, implement project management processes and tools, and create a scalable framework designed to support long-term growth.
Success in this role will be measured by project outcomes, process improvements, and the successful development of a PMO strategy that secures executive support and future investment. Strong performance may create opportunities for advancement into a senior leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement project management processes, tools, and systems for strategic business opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional execution of newly secured business initiatives to ensure successful implementation.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and governance across project portfolios.
  • Collaborate with commercial, operations, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive new product development (NPD) project framework.
  • Develop project tracking, resource planning, capacity management, and reporting tools.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, including:

Preferred
  • Experience establishing or improving PMO functions and project governance structures.
  • Leadership or management experience with cross-functional teams.

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
