Job description

The IT PMO owns the strategy, roadmap, and ongoing lifecycle of one or more of Lincoln's core technology platforms supporting property management, asset management, leasing, and development operations. This role partners directly with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into product requirements, prioritizes enhancements and releases based on business value, and ensures the platforms in their portfolio remain reliable and continue to evolve with the business. Unlike project work with a defined end date, the IT PMO owns the platform on an ongoing basis, well beyond go-live. This role reports to the Head of IT, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Chief Operating Officer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for assigned technology platforms (e.g., property management, leasing, maintenance and work order, tenant experience, or development and construction systems).
  • Gather and prioritize business requirements from property management, asset management, development, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for internal teams and external vendors or developers.
  • Manage the platform backlog, balancing enhancement requests, defect fixes, compliance needs, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with the Head of IT and business sponsors to build and communicate the product roadmap, including release planning and timing.
  • Serve as the primary business owner for platform vendor relationships, including contract renewals, licensing, and escalation of service issues.
  • Define and track product success metrics, including adoption, utilization, satisfaction, and cost per unit, and report on platform performance.
  • Lead user acceptance testing, training coordination, and change management activities associated with new releases or feature rollouts.
  • Evaluate new features, integrations, and third-party tools against business needs and total cost of ownership.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on assigned platforms, providing guidance to internal teams and end users.
  • Partner with the Head of IT on major platform initiatives that require formal project governance, while retaining ongoing platform ownership before and after the project closes.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Real Estate, or a related field required; equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, business systems analysis, or platform ownership, ideally supporting commercial real estate, property management, or development operations.
  • Direct experience with property management, leasing, or development and construction technology platforms (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Procore, Salesforce, or similar) strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements from non-technical business stakeholders and translate them into actionable product plans.
  • Familiarity with agile or product delivery frameworks and backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable using data to prioritize roadmap decisions and measure platform performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present roadmap and platform strategy to executive leadership.
  • Vendor management experience, including contract, licensing, and service-level agreement oversight.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Physical Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Primarily an office-based role requiring prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. Minimal travel required to regional or portfolio offices as needed.

This position is 100% in-office. The role requires working in office during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not an option for this position.
