Job description

ICAM PMO Analyst

The Opportunity:

As a PMO Analyst, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need you, a PMO Analyst who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

The Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) PMO Analyst will assist PMO Manager in running the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) ICAM PMO. In this role, you'll assist with traditional PMO responsibilities which include managing cost, schedule, scope, personnel, deliverables, risks, and issues.

This role will encompass all of that, plus VA ICAM compliance activities such as the Digital Identity Risk Assessment process, stakeholder communications about ICAM changes and policies, and Innovation Day event coordination.

In addition, this role will be critical to the adoption of AI-enabled workflows, data systems, and ways of working for the team, enabling radically efficient and high-quality work.

What You'll Work On:

  • Assist with the Status and Performance Report and the centralized real-time reporting dashboard, summarizing work performed, deliverable status, upcoming activities, risks, issues, and mitigation actions.

  • Design and run program risk or issue governance and maintain the program-wide Risk Register and RAID log aligned with the product-specific Risk Registers maintained by each workstream.

  • Aggregate schedule, scope, and dependency status across ICAM product workstreams into the enterprise Program Roadmap, escalating cross-team risks as needed.

  • Support the Contractor Project Management Plan (CPMP).

  • Support Quarterly Program Reviews (QPR) with performance-outcome and risk or quality trend inputs for the ICAM Program Manager.

  • Leverage AI intelligently to drive efficiency and quality of output, automate tasks wherever appropriate, and develop and consistently use ways of working which allow Agents and automated processes to effectively assist.

Apply today to help us deliver modern identity solutions that protect veterans, their data, and their access to critical VA services.

Join us. The world can't wait.

You Have:

  • 2 + years of experience with program or project management and risk-management on federal IT or cybersecurity delivery contracts

  • Experience owning status or performance reporting, RAID logs, or risk registers for a multi-workstream program

  • Experience with schedule and dependency management tools such as Jira or MS Project

  • Public Trust

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience managing project cost

  • Experience developing root-cause analyses and corrective action or recovery plans against SLA and AQL frameworks

  • Experience with formal risk-management frameworks and RAID-log methodology including PMI or ISO 31000

  • Experience using AI agents to build things

Vetting:

Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client; Public Trust determination is required.
