  • Project Oversight: Provide oversight of multiple fiber optic construction projects, ensuring project teams successfully deliver projects that meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer expectations.
  • Operational Partnership: Partner with the Senior Vice President of Operations and Construction leadership to align project execution with company objectives, operational priorities, and client commitments.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships while ensuring projects remain aligned with contractual requirements and business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to proactively resolve project issues and remove execution barriers.
  • Project Performance Monitoring: Monitor project performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity metrics, resource utilization, and financial reporting. Review project progress and implement corrective actions to address schedule, budget, quality, or operational risks.
  • Project Controls & Risk Management: Oversee project controls, including scheduling, cost forecasting, productivity tracking, equipment utilization, change management, and risk mitigation to support successful project execution.
  • Planning & Scheduling Oversight: Review and approve project work plans, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with company quality standards, inspections, documentation requirements, and project closeout procedures.
  • Procurement & Material Coordination: Partner with Construction leadership to coordinate procurement schedules, material deliveries, and inventory planning to minimize project delays.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project budget conversion, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and overall financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Change Management: Review and approve change orders while ensuring contractual compliance and financial accountability.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Ensure accurate project documentation, correspondence, reporting, and record retention in accordance with company and client requirements.
  • Technology & Systems Management: Utilize Vitruvi construction project management software to manage project execution, reporting, scheduling, documentation, and performance tracking while promoting consistent use across the PMO.
  • Resource Planning: Support workforce planning, recruiting, and resource allocation in partnership with Human Resources and Operations leadership.
  • Culture & Team Development: Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development within the PMO team.
