Job description

We are seeking a Calibration Technician to join our Lab Team at Aldinger, an Accredited Labs Company. Our Team of Calibration Technicians are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of calibrating various measuring devices and instruments across multiple fields. As a Calibration Lab Technician, you will work out of our Dallas, Tx office to calibrate various equipment across differing fields. You will be responsible for performing routine and complex work related to the repair and calibration of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment. The ideal candidate comes from a mechanical or technical background with exposure to calibration procedures.

Location: On-site at our Dallas, TX.Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Complete accurate and timely calibrations in our shop.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with ISO17025.
  • Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation.
  • Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Working directly with clients throughout the calibration process from first onsite touch point to completion of project, including good communication to provide client updates to services needed.
  • Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
  • Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support.
  • Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates

Basic Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
  • Able to lift 50lbs, climb, kneel, drive and stand for long periods of time
  • Demonstrated ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly
  • Experience working in a technical or mechanical position
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word Excellent customer service skills
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills
Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods and techniques in metrology gained through education, or professional experience
  • Experience working with Manufacturers Quality Systems
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics or other Technical Fields
  • Technical Degree or Certificate
  • Military PMEL Training
