We are adding to staff and hiring an Office Manager to join our team in our Midtown Manhattan office. This is a new role on our service-oriented facilities team to meet the needs of our growing company. Our facilities team works onsite 5 days/week and we are proud of the work we do in keeping our facilities safe and clean for all employees and guests. The team values people and team-building skills and can anticipate needs before they arise.
What you will do:
  • Contribute to a happy, healthy, high-performance team, assist with the coordination of company-wide cultural engagement initiatives, and represent PMC's core values in everything you do.
  • Anchor the reception desk, greeting and directing visitors with a warm, welcoming disposition to ensure an excellent first impression.
  • Ensure reception area, mail room, and lobby area are always professional-looking, safe and clean.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Specialist and building Security to manage deliveries, couriers, access, and other building-related issues as they arise.
  • Manage key card access.
  • Supervise the Facilities Ticketing System to ensure all requests and concerns are handled in a professional and timely manner by the Facilities team.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources, IT, and the Facilities team, to ensure each new hire's first day includes a clean desk with supplies & nameplate, computer set-up, access/parking card, and welcome packet.

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • At least 3 years of Administrative and Facilities experience
  • Knowledge of facilities best practices and safety guidelines
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs, Slack, Jira, Coupa, and Building Engines
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to lift, pull or push up to 30lbs
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a propensity for action
