Position Summary: 

      The PM Technician Level II will work independently to perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on HVAC systems, ensuring optimal equipment performance, reliability, and longevity. This role requires strong technical knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.

      In addition to technical duties, the PM Technician Level II may lead a preventive maintenance team on-site, providing direction, coordinating tasks, and ensuring quality and efficiency in service delivery. This position plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction through professionalism, reliability, and adherence to safety and operational standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Perform PM Service as needed- replace filters, belts, coil cleaning, etc.

Utilize DST Technology ability to lead a PM team on-site

Working unsupervised

Performing routine preventative and predictive maintenance on HVAC systems

Maintain accurate service records and documentation

Follow all required safety protocols

Requirements

  Required Qualifications:

High School/GED (basic math/reading)

Technical School/Community College/NCTAP (Apprenticeship Program)

General knowledge of HVAC/R systems

Ability to communicate services performed with customers


Preferred Qualifications:

Applicable Trade/Vocational school


Certifications:

Universal CFC Certification within 1 year of starting


Physical Requirements:

Lifting

Bending, climbing, pulling, pushing, balancing, kneeling, twisting and standing

Perform service and repair functions from ladders and overhead

Carry and set up ladders up to 32 ft. in height (step or extension) as required

Climbing stairs, ladders, catwalks, etc.

Work from mechanical lifts
