Job description

Southern Ohio Medical Center is seeking an Interventional PM&R pain fellowship-trained physician to join its hospital-employed outpatient PM&R group. This role involves providing comprehensive pain management services within a supportive team environment. The physician will manage a diverse patient caseload and perform various procedures, contributing to the well-being of the community.

Practice Info

  • Outpatient PM&R group
  • Staffing includes 1 outpatient physician, 1 inpatient physician, 1 Nurse Practitioner (outpatient), 4 LPN's, 3 Medical Office Assistants, and 1 Surgery Scheduler
  • Case load of 10-15 patients/day in outpatient clinic
  • 3 half-day clinics
  • 5-8 procedures/day in the OR
  • Equipment includes Meditech and Dragon Medical One

Responsibilities

  • Perform Epidural Nerve Block procedures
  • Perform Ablation procedures
  • Perform Knee & Shoulder Injections
  • Perform TPI procedures
  • Perform Occipital Block procedures
  • Perform Spinal Cord Stimulators procedures
  • Utilize Needle guided ultrasound

Compensation

  • Salaried

Shift & Schedule

  • 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday
  • 8:00am - noon Friday
  • This schedule can be flexed
  • 1:4 weekend call for inpatient rehab care unit, approx. 13 weekends/year
