Job Summary:

The Construction Superintendent has full on-site coordination responsibilities for a particular project and is often multi-tasking in several areas of a project's phases. Functions include coordinating and directing subcontractors, procurement of material and equipment, overseeing of all safety aspects of the project, professionally communicating with the client and with internal departments within the company, ensures high quality, oversees production and logistics, works closely with city officials to coordinate applicable inspections, and manages other site work related to a project.

Min Qualifications:

We are looking for an individual who has previous commercial construction experience in building K-12 educational facilities (10 or more years of experience is preferred) as well as;

  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings, plans, and other specifications
  • Solid understanding of subcontractor scopes of work
  • Previous supervisory experience managing 20+ individuals
  • Comfortable on a computer with basic Microsoft programs (i.e. word, outlook, excel)
  • Average job size of $30M
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal building codes
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language (Spanish is a plus)
  • Willingness to represent the company and its core values
  • SWPPP certified
  • Ability to direct an on-site team of Assistant Superintendents, Foremen, Subcontractors, etc.
  • Willing to relocate locally on an as needed basis per project requirements

Special Requirements: Must be able to pass controlled substance tests prior to and at all times during employment.
