Job description

D&W is searching for a Service Coordinator for our location in Albany, New York. We are looking for an individual with strong leadership skills, a mechanical background, preferably in the truck or automotive industry and the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the activities of the branch service department which include both repair work and vehicle equipment upfitting.
  • Schedule work that meets the needs of our customers.
  • Supervise on vehicle technicians
  • Prepare estimates, quotations, and final bills for all branch service and install work.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the branch operations.
  • Provide customer service and sales support.
Job Requirements:
  • 3+ years of service writing experience
  • Prior experience with diesel on and off highway a plus
  • Diagnostics experience desired
  • Working knowledge of both truck repair and vehicle upfitting is a plus
  • Strong technical/mechanical aptitude and experience
  • Ability to initiate, coordinate and prioritize responsibilities
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
