Overview

Rooter Hero and Nexgen are looking for an experienced and results-driven Plumbing Service Manager to lead operations at our La Habra branch. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily service operations, managing technician performance, driving profitability, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in residential plumbing services, proven leadership experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining operational excellence.

Responsibilities\Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, mentor, and support plumbing technicians and Channel Leaders.
  • Conduct regular crew meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Hold one-on-one meetings and administer corrective action when necessary.
  • Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional development.
  • Support employee engagement, retention, and career growth initiatives.
Operations Management
  • Oversee daily service operations and ensure efficient workflow management.
  • Monitor active jobs to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure jobs are properly closed and documented, preferably within 10 days.
  • Manage company vehicles, equipment, uniforms, and operational resources.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Financial & Strategic Oversight
  • Collaborate with Regional Leadership to manage operational and marketing expenses.
  • Review monthly financial reports and identify opportunities for cost savings and growth.
  • Drive branch profitability and achieve monthly revenue and KPI targets.
  • Support strategic initiatives designed to improve efficiency and expand operations.
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Attend management, leadership, and branch meetings.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, records, and operational documentation.
  • Partner with leadership teams to improve processes and customer service outcomes.
  • Ensure effective communication between field and office staff.

Requirements

Must Have
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience.
  • Proven experience within the Plumbing Service Industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel between customer homes, branch locations, and corporate offices as needed.
  • Ability to perform occasional site visits requiring standing, walking, bending, and driving.
Nice to Have
  • Experience managing P&L statements, budgets, and financial reporting.
  • Background in high-volume residential service operations.
  • Experience developing technician training and onboarding programs.
