Backed by over 80 years of experience, Binsky Home Service has become a trusted name in-home services among our neighbors in central New Jersey. Our staff includes skilled Plumbers, HVAC Technicians, HVAC Installers and Electricians who truly care about satisfying our customers.

The Role:

The Plumbing Service Manager is a key role within our department. The Plumbing Service Manager works closely with our Plumbing department to ensure all jobs are performed with quality workmanship and uphold excellent customer satisfaction. All job duties performed by the Plumbing Service Manager must be performed with the departments goals and objectives in mind. The Plumbing Service Manager will report to the General Manager.

Responsibilities:

As the Plumbing Service Manager, you are responsible for the management, facilitation, administration, growth and profitability of the Plumbing department.

Work closely with dispatchers to assign jobs for the next day and follow up with technicians when needed

Communicating with all parties involved, you keep track of each job within the schedule and lead your team to achieve revenue goals

Regularly meet with each person on your team, formally and informally, to provide the necessary training and technical support required

Understand the goals of the department and hold your team accountable for accomplishing goals

Prepare quotes and estimates for recommended work

Follow-up with customers in a timely manner

Reviews technicians' work and performance to ensure quality meets established standards

Create, maintain and approve on call schedule for technicians

Assist in completing accurate and timely paperwork

Maintains positive relations with other staff members, suppliers, vendors and customers

Implement routine service meetings to ensure company values and standards are being met

Additional tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in Residential Plumbing Service Management or a similar supervisory role within the Proven experience in Residential Plumbing Service Management or a similar supervisory role within the Residential HVAC or Plumbing industry. Experienced service technicians seeking to move into the role of Service Manager will also be considered.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Technical aptitude with knowledge of local codes

Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage and train a team

Strong computer skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of Service Titan

Valid drivers license with clean driving record
