About the role

Expert Plumbing Inc is a trusted plumbing contractor based in Cerritos, CA, serving residential, and commercial, clients across Southern California. We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Estimator to join our growing team and play a key role in bidding and winning new projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed and accurate plumbing estimates for commercial, residential, and industrial projects
  • Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop competitive bids
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and material supplier quotes
  • Coordinate with project managers and field crews to ensure alignment on scope and costs
  • Track and analyze bid results to improve estimating accuracy over time
  • Manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet submission deadlines
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of material pricing, labor rates, and industry trends

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in plumbing estimating
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, codes, and installation methods
  • Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., FastPipe,Trimble, QuoteSoft, or similar)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Excellent math and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of California plumbing codes and regulations
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
