We offer growth and stability in an ever-changing volatile environment. Join us to do the best work of your career as a Senior Plumbing Engineer on our growing team in Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC or Alexandria, VA (Hybrid role: full-time but flexible to part-time pending candidate).

As a Senior Plumbing Engineer, you will be working on new and existing facilities. You will be designing systems for mission critical data centers, high rise office, hotel, medical facilities, and academic facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design of Plumbing systems throughout all our company market sectors including government, academic, commercial, healthcare and data centers.
  • Produce designs of Plumbing and Piping systems including sanitary waste and vents, storm water, natural gas, potable and non-potable water systems, water reuse systems, medical waste and gas systems.
  • Lead with the design and construction teams on related portions of construction planning and visit the project construction site throughout the construction administration process along with field reports, RFI responses and submittal reviews.
  • Survey existing project sites to document the existing plumbing conditions and assess existing plumbing infrastructure and prepare due diligence reports.
  • Perform the role of Engineer of Record for Plumbing designs.
  • Client and vendor interaction

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of plumbing engineering
  • Designing plumbing and piping systems.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
  • Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD)
  • AutoCAD or Revit is a plus
  • PE is a plus

The compensation range is $130,000 - $175,000 plus bonus eligible dependent on years of experience, licensure, and education.
