JCM Associates, Inc. is hiring Licensed Commercial Plumbers for full time year-round positions in Baltimore, MD.

We work and partner with premier owners, developers, contractors, vendors, and manufacturers in the industry. Our work is primarily focused on commercial mixed-use, medical, university, and government projects. Some of these past and current projects include, The Wharf Phases 1 & 2 in Washington DC, The Baltimore Arena (CFG Bank Stadium) , University of Maryland New Residences, The Anthem, Catholic University and many more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Job sites include commercial construction projects of various sizes
  • Under the general supervision of a designated supervisor, install, maintain, and repair heating, plumbing and gas piping systems.
  • Repair, install, and maintain plumbing, hydronic piping, and gas piping
  • Assemble and install piping, valves, and fitting.

Minimum Skills/Requirements:

  • Holds an active Journeyman's License in the state of Maryland or DC
  • 5-10 years of experience with commercial mechanical projects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems
  • Ability to read, understand and work from drawings, specifications and schematics
  • Understands written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Attendance, reliability, dependability and flexibility
  • Ability to interact with multiple personality types while ensuring a positive outcome
  • Knowledge of appropriate tools and equipment to install piping and plumbing systems.
  • Knowledge of welding, brazing, threading and other plumbing and piping techniques.
  • Maintain and service the tools and equipment necessary to install plumbing and piping systems.
  • Sufficient knowledge of pipe hanging and support installations.
  • Have sufficient knowledge of safe working practices and maintain and support company safety programs and attend company safety training.
