Job description

Job Title: Plumbing Assistant
Reports to: Plumbing Manager
Start Date: ASAP

Job Overview:

The Plumbing Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting the Plumbing Team in executing daily field operations. Reporting to the Plumbing Manager, this individual assumes responsibility for a range of tasks, including rough-in plumbing installations, trim-outs, job site cleanliness, ensuring the truck is in top condition, and upkeeping tools and equipment. Effective communication with teammates and clients throughout every phase of a project is paramount for success in this role.
Specializing in the plumbing requirements for upscale new construction homes valued at $1 million and above, as well as contributing to high-end residential renovations, the Trusted Tradesmen plumbing team delivers excellence in all aspects of plumbing services. It's important to note that the TT&Co plumbing team does not engage in service calls for the public.

Primary Responsibilities: (75%)
  • Consistently display behavior which aligns with the core values of TT&Co (100%)
  • Install drain and water lines
  • Rough-in new construction homes
  • Keep jobsites and truck in order and clean
  • Assist lead plumber in any capacity deemed necessary
  • Always use proper PPE
  • Presentable in in high end homes
Secondary Responsibilities: (25%)
  • Assist in any shop related maintenance or improvements
  • Pick-up materials from suppliers
  • Troubleshoot
  • Communicate well with Project Managers, builders, etc…

Working Conditions:
  • This individual will work primarily in private, residential homes
  • This role involves occasional heavy lifting
  • This role involves frequent interaction with plumbing teammates and management
  • Sustained periods of standing, lifting, moving materials and walking
  • The use of personal protective equipment is required daily
  • This person will be exposed to inclement weather, dust and chemicals that are congruent with working on a new home site

Job Type:
  • This is a full-time hourly position, which generally requires between 40-45 hours per week
  • This is a non-exempt position which does pay overtime, when required

Schedule:
  • Monday – Thursday from 6 am to 4 pm
  • This role may require occasional evening work and Friday work depending on the project
Compensation Plan: $18-$22/hour DOE
