Location: St. George, UT

Job Overview

S&S Mechanical in St. George, UT is hiring a Commercial Plumbing Foreman to lead plumbing crews on commercial construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced plumber who excels at supervising teams, coordinating installations, and ensuring high-quality workmanship on complex commercial plumbing systems.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise plumbing crews on commercial construction job sites
  • Coordinate plumbing installations based on blueprints, engineered plans, and specifications
  • Communicate with project managers, general contractors, engineers, and inspectors
  • Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company expectations
  • Plan daily jobsite activities and assign tasks to crew members
  • Coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth project workflow and scheduling
  • Train, mentor, and support apprentices and junior plumbers
  • Track materials, tools, equipment, and jobsite resources
  • Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining project timelines
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite environment
Qualifications
  • Several years of experience in commercial plumbing
  • Strong leadership and crew management abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
  • Solid understanding of commercial plumbing systems and building codes
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Journeyman plumbing license
  • Previous experience as a foreman or supervisor in commercial construction
  • Experience managing large-scale or multi-phase construction projects
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
  • Ability to work in construction environments, including trenches, mechanical rooms, and elevated areas
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work on active job sites
