Plumber (Semi-Skilled to Journeyman)

Location: Saint George, UT 84770

Job Type: Full-Time / Temporary (W-2)

Job Description

UCP Staffing is seeking reliable and experienced Plumbers to join our team in Saint George, UT. We are looking for individuals ranging from semi-skilled helpers to highly skilled journeymen who are proficient in residential or commercial plumbing systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment. Whether you specialize in new construction rough-ins or service and repair, we have projects that will utilize your expertise in a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation: Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems.

  • Layout & Prep: Interpret blueprints and building plans to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste/venting systems.

  • System Testing: Inspect and test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues using pressure gauges and other specialized tools.

  • Maintenance: Repair or replace damaged sections of piping and troubleshoot clogged drains or malfunctioning fixtures.

  • Tool Operation: Safely operate power tools, pipe cutters, threading machines, and soldering/brazing equipment.

  • Safety: Adhere to all local plumbing codes, OSHA safety regulations, and UCP compliance standards.
